• 工作營介紹

這是在大學四年級參加的活動，是臺北世界設計大會的周邊系列活動。工作營在全臺灣各個設計院校舉辦，各有不同主題，實踐大學主題為「經緯交錯下的體驗設計」"Experience Design above the XYZ"，由Frog Design 創辦人Hartmut Esslinger領銜指導。工作營一開始邀請學員說出對於臺北的關鍵字，接著讓匯聚全球的工作營夥伴，分組外出體驗臺北地區的生活風貌，並發想概念、提出設計，最後並在位於臺北世貿中心舉辦的世界設計大展展出工作營成果。

 

我們這組選擇淡水為踏勘對象，過程至淡水龍山寺…等景點參觀，途中經由淡水河的人行道，看見與廟宇相隔甚遠的磚造金紙爐檯，獨自佇立於人行道中，或許有感於這樣子的景象，試圖探討傳統宗教信仰，在現代都市發展中的衝突與矛盾，進而設計出「iTemple」現代信仰科技。

關於新世代設計工作營(YDW)

 

YDW邀請世界各地900位青年設計師來臺，於10月17日起至10月21日止，展開為期5天的創意交鋒。YDW是一項由青年設計師們參與學習與創作的設計工作營，由經濟部工業局主辦，臺灣創意設計中心及中華民國設計學會共同策劃，經過嚴格評選出全臺之30個精英設計院校系所後，所同步展開的活動。

 

設計營活動期間，每個營隊將由15位臺灣學生與15位國際學生共同組成，更將邀請國際級講師團隊，如:國際通用設計專家中川聰先生、德國仿生設計專家Axel Thallemer、 XBOX360設計師村田志明、知名設計公司Frog Design 創辦人Hartmut Esslinger等人隨隊指導，參加者將可透過此活動，與國際級大師面對面學習，並可與世界各地之青年設計師交流切磋，激盪創意!

 

30個營隊主題涵蓋平面設計、工業設計、建築空間設計、工藝設計等領域，以「設計與文化的融合」「設計與科技的融合」「設計與環境永續的融合」為3大主軸，主題由臺灣夜市美食文化、時尚工藝美學、綠色永續設計、網路雲端社群互動、到建構未來高齡化之理想生活等!內容多元豐富，除充分滿足青年設計師之廣泛興趣，並將展現世界青年設計師的無限潛能與熱情活力!

iTemple♥

Is temple really that needed?

Instead of going to the temple and pray for a wish, how about owning your own and pray everywhere!

 

How this topic came to mind:

The conflicts between the old and new are common seen problems for historical place in Taiwan.

There are over 50 temples in Tamsui only. Under the restructure and redesign of the city today, they some how became the obstructers to the new policies. Instead of having most of them ends being forgotten in the small alleys, or even unable to find,  is there any way to bring them back to life and back to their resplendent days? Is there any way to have even busy people who rarely visit temples to be able to worship a god also when they feel anxious?

 

→what if there is actually NO TEMPLES AT ALL ??

 

According to statistic from Academia Sinica, the highest academic institution in Taiwan, over 50% of the adherents believe in a religion for the purpose of entrust spiritually and mentally.

Combining and moving the temples, gods, ceremonies actually inside our mind and having only the images to display the meaning of worship goods may be a good way to set “Temples” into another form.

Under the pasting of time, changes should be made.
